Thank you for your interest in volunteering with Living History Days. Attached you’ll find our volunteer application. Our 501(c)3 organization is made up of youth and families working together to present an authentic view of 18th century life at community events and celebrations. We welcome new volunteer applications on January 1st and June 1st every year, in order to fill any needed vacancies.
Interested volunteers must be at least 14 years of age in order to apply. Younger siblings may also participate if their parent or guardian is also participating with them.
Volunteer Applicants must:
1. have attended at least one prior Living History Days event,
2. Be a born again Christian and agree to LHD’s Statement of Faith and Code of Conduct.
3. Attend a new member orientation, commit to all requirements for the event, including appropriate costume acquisition, large group and station meeting dates and event schedule.
Please submit your application before January 1st or June 1st for the following event. Late applications will push back your participation to the next event. Applicant interviews will be scheduled with a board member prior to the January or June monthly meeting. Applicants will be notified of acceptance into Living History Days, upon Board approval.
